The S&P 500 fell from a record high today as the momentum from a strong earnings season started to fade.

Dow Jones finished -266 at 35,490

S&P 500 finished -23 at 4,551

NASDAQ finished flat at 15,235

The 10 Year Treasury closed down 8 basis points yielding 1.54%

Oil prices closed down $2.57 ending at $82.08 a barrel.

Gold prices closed up $5.90 ending at $1,799 an ounce.

In the days’ stock news:

Coca-Cola closed up 1.9% after their quarterly results beat on both top and bottom lines. Coca-Cola reported adjusted earnings of 65 cents per share, 7 cents higher than the Refinitiv consensus estimate. The company also hiked its full-year forecast.
Boeing closed down 1.5% after a wider-than-expected quarterly loss. The aircraft maker posted an adjusted quarterly loss of 60 cents per share, compared with 20 cents per share expected. Revenue also missed expectations.
