Stocks increased today, with every major index finishing up about a half of percent. This was due to a record jobs gain of 4.8 million in June, which beat the estimates of 2.9 million and brought unemployment down to 11.1%.

The 10 Year Treasury closed down 1 basis point yielding 0.67%

Oil prices closed up $0.42 ending at $40.24 a barrel

Gold prices closed up $9 ending at $1,789 an ounce

Shares of Tesla moved 8% higher after the automaker delivered 90,650 vehicles during the second quarter, beating the estimates of 72,000.
