Stocks extended gains to set fresh record highs today as investors took in another hefty set of earnings and economic data

Dow Jones finished +16 at 35,756

S&P 500 finished +8 at 4,574

NASDAQ finished +9 at 15,235

The 10 Year Treasury closed down 2 basis points yielding 1.61%

Oil prices closed up $0.90 ending at $84.66 a barrel.

Gold prices closed down $11.70 ending at $1,795 an ounce.

Raytheon Technologies closed down 2.3% after Raytheon Technologies’ third-quarter revenue came in at $16.21 billion, below the $16.37 billion expected.
Facebook closed down 3.9% after Facebook missed estimates for revenue and monthly active user growth for the third quarter. Facebook’s earnings per share of $3.22 beat estimates by 3 cents, according to Refinitiv.
