U.S. stocks fell today as Big Tech stocks moved lower and new inflation data continued to show a sharp rise in prices.

Dow Jones finished -107 at 35,544

S&P 500 finished -35 at 4,634

NASDAQ finished -176 at 15,237

The 10 Year Treasury closed up 2 basis points yielding 1.44%

Oil prices closed down $0.88 ending at $70.41 a barrel.

Gold prices closed down $16.50 ending at $1,771 an ounce.

Beyond Meat closed up 9.3% after Piper Sandler upgraded Beyond Meat to neutral from underweight. The investment firm said in a note that a potential product launch in McDonald’s in early 2022 could boost Beyond’s results.
Tesla closed down 0.8% after CEO Elon Musk sold another $906 million of his shares on Monday. This brings the total amount of shares he’s sold to 11.9 million as of Tuesday, according to InsiderScore/Verity.
