Stocks closed up today as stocks posted their best week since 2020.

Dow Jones finished +274 at 34,754

S&P 500 finished +51 at 4,463

NASDAQ finished +279 at 13,893

The 10 Year Treasury closed down 5 basis points yielding 2.14%

Oil prices closed up $1.57 ending at $104.55 a barrel.

Gold prices closed down $24.80 ending at $1,918 an ounce.

Moderna closed up 6.3% on news that it is seeking FDA approval for a second Covid-19 booster shot for adults 18 years or older. Pfizer and its partner BioNTech requested approval for a Covid-19 booster for those 65 and older this week.
FedEx closed down 4% after the company missed earnings estimates for the quarter. The company beat on revenue but said worker shortages amid the omicron variant outbreak hurt its bottom line.
