The S&P 500 fell today, for its first weekly loss in three weeks, as the outlook for additional fiscal stimulus remained uncertain.

 

Dow Jones finished +47 at 30,046

S&P 500 finished d-5 at 3,663

NASDAQ finished -28 at 12,377

 

The 10 Year Treasury closed down 2 basis points yielding 0.89%

Oil prices closed down $0.19 ending at $46.59 a barrel

Gold prices closed up $5.50 ending at $1,843 an ounce

 

In the days’ stock news:

 

  • Disney soared nearly 14% after the company said its streaming service, Disney+, could reach between 230 million and 260 million subscribers by 2024. The company also said its streaming business could be profitable by 2024.
  • Lululemon dropped more than 6% despite the company posting better-than-expected quarterly results. Lululemon earned $1.16 per share in the third quarter, versus the 88 cents expected by analysts surveyed by Refinitiv. The company’s revenue also came in above estimates. However, Lululemon declined to offer guidance for full-year 2020 due to the uncertainty around the pandemic. The stock has gained more than 50% this year.
