Stocks ended slightly higher on Friday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closing out the session at record levels.

 

Dow Jones finished +28 at 31,458

S&P 500 finished +18 at 3,934

NASDAQ finished +70 at 14,095

 

The 10 Year Treasury closed up 4 basis points yielding 1.20%

Oil prices closed up $1.38 ending at $59.62 a barrel.

Gold prices closed down $7.00 ending at $1,819 an ounce.

  • Disney closed down almost 2% despite Disney reporting better-than-expected results for its fiscal first quarter. The company reported earnings of 32 cents per share on $16.25 billion of revenue. The company now has nearly 95 million subscribers for Disney+, but revenue at its parks segment was down 53% year over year.
  • Expedia — The travel stock fell more than 2% after a disappointing fourth-quarter report. Expedia reported an adjusted loss per share of $2.64 and $920 million in revenue.
