Stocks closed up for a third straight day as investors digested the latest news out of Ukraine and got comfortable with the outcome of the Federal Reserve meeting.

Dow Jones finished +418 at 34,480

S&P 500 finished +54 at 4,411

NASDAQ finished +178 at 13,614

The 10 Year Treasury closed up 1 basis point yielding 2.20%

Oil prices closed up $8.21 ending at $103.25 a barrel.

Gold prices closed up $28.40 ending at $1,937 an ounce.

In the days’ stock news:

Guess closed up 9% after the company’s quarterly report. Guess posted adjusted quarterly earnings of $1.14 per share, one cent below the Refinitiv consensus, while revenue also fell short of forecasts. However, profit margins were better than anticipated.
SolarEdge Technologies closed down almost 6% after the company announced a proposed public offering of 2 million shares of its common stock.
