Stocks closed mostly up today as tech shares looked to make up some of their declines from earlier this week. Traders this week have been hopeful that drug-makers were closing in on getting approval for a vaccine.

 

Dow Jones finished -23 at 29,397

S&P 500 finished +27 at 3,572

NASDAQ finished +233 at 11,786

 

The 10 Year Treasury closed even yielding 0.96%

Oil prices closed up $0.19 ending at $41.55 a barrel

Gold prices closed down $13.70 ending at $1,862 an ounce

 

In the days’ stock news:

 

  • FuboTV closed up more than 2% on the back of quarterly revenue that beat analyst expectations. FuboTv reported sales of $61.2 million, topping an estimate of $54.3 million. The company also issued better-than-expected revenue guidance for the fourth quarter.
  • Revlon closed up more than 26% after the company announced that $236.5 million of outstanding bonds were tendered into the company’s exchange program as Revlon looks to hold off bankruptcy.
