Stocks rallied today, but still posted their first losing week in six along with heightened inflation fears.

Dow Jones finished +179 at 36,100

S&P 500 finished +34 at 4,682

NASDAQ finished +157 at 15,860

The 10 Year Treasury closed up 2 basis points yielding 1.58%

Oil prices closed down $0.80 ending at $80.79 a barrel.

Gold prices closed up $3.80 ending at $1,867 an ounce.

Tesla closed down 2.8% after CEO Elon Musk’s trust on Thursday sold another $687 million in shares, regulatory filings made public Friday revealed. Musk and his trust sold roughly $5 billion worth of stock earlier this week.
Johnson & Johnson closed up 1.2% after they announced a plan to split itself into two companies. The plan, which would take 18 to 24 months, would spin out the company’s consumer products business from its pharmaceutical and medical device business.
