Stocks closed up today as investors digested a slew of new earnings results that topped Wall Street’s expectations, suggesting more companies were able to work through ongoing supply chain challenges and still generate solid profits.

Dow Jones finished +199 at 35,457

S&P 500 finished +33 at 4,519

NASDAQ finished +107 at 15,129

The 10 Year Treasury closed up 5 basis points yielding 1.64%

Oil prices closed up $0.40 ending at $82.84 a barrel.

Gold prices closed up $4.20 ending at $1,770 an ounce.
