Greenberg Financial Team, Jose Escalante

Nogales native, Jose Escalante is bilingual and a 2004 graduate of Salpointe Catholic High School. Jose earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona in 2009. For more than a decade, he has provided services to individuals, private businesses, health care institutions, non-profits, governmental entities, and casinos.

Jose knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a career in accounting. His father owned an accounting firm in Mexico, and he has two siblings in the same industry. Jose founded Southwest Accounting Solutions in 2015. Embracing the opportunity to offer accounting services to the Tucson community, Jose provides experience, service and commitment to all his clients.

Jose is very active in the Tucson community and has volunteered to finance council of St. Cyril of Alexandria Parish here in Tucson, Arizona. He has been married for 3 years and loves spending time with his two kids (dogs), Nico and Bella. He enjoys free time with his family, traveling, and walking his dogs.

Fun Facts:

• Jose thinks about numbers all the time, accounting and numbers are his biggest passion, he will talk about it all day if you let him.
• He loves to travel, experiencing different cultures, learning about their traditions, music and food.
• At five-years-old, Jose would go to work with his dad. He loved using the calculator.
