Background and Education
Sebastian grew up in Tucson, AZ, and graduated from Marana High School in 2019, where he was actively involved in sports, playing both baseball and football. His passion for economics led him to the University of Arizona, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Eller College of Management. During his time at the U of A, he was honored to receive the Economic Scholar of the Year award in 2023.
Why Finance?
Sebastian joined the University of Arizona’s Investment Club as a freshman, which exposed him to a variety of financial opportunities and gave him real-world experience in the industry. In one of the first immersive activities, a paper trading game where he was given a fake $100k to manage, he became the first freshman ever to win. That moment sparked his motivation to pursue a career in finance, and he’s been dedicated to this path ever since.
Why Greenberg Financial Group?
Having grown up in Tucson, Sebastian values being part of a firm that’s so deeply integrated into the local community. Greenberg Financial Group’s involvement through the radio show and our outreach initiatives allows him to contribute to the economic well-being of the place. He appreciates the unique culture of GFG — an independent firm that fosters strong, personal relationships with clients while providing the flexibility to advocate for the best interests of those he serves. His journey with Greenberg Financial Group (GFG) began through an internship opportunity that was recommended to him by his childhood friend, Todd Glick. He started working here, and it’s been a perfect fit ever since.
