Stocks mostly gained today, extending last week’s advances and reaching a fresh all-time high for the S&P 500 at the start of a busy week for new economic data.

Dow Jones finished -56 at 35,399

S&P 500 finished +19 at 4,528

NASDAQ finished +137 at 15,265

The 10 Year Treasury closed down 3 basis points yielding 1.28%

Oil prices closed up $0.29 ending at $69.03 a barrel.

Gold prices closed down $6.20 ending at $1,813 an ounce.

Shares of Affirm closed up more than 46% after the buy-now, pay-later company announced a partnership with Amazon. Amazon is teaming up with Affirm for its first partnership with an installment payment player on the Amazon site. Shares of Amazon rose more than 2%.
Zoom closed up 2% today, ahead of Zoom’s second-quarter earnings report. The company will release its latest results this afternoon.
