A Unique Solution, To A Growing Problem

March 3, 2022

As we age, we enter different stages of what we typically call, “Retirement Planning.” Though we often think of such regarding lifestyle and money, we need to be proactive, and think about healthcare and legacy issues as well.

LONG TERM CARE is not a pleasant topic; we usually visualize mom or dad ending up in one of those dreaded nursing homes. By far the majority of those needing care, would prefer to stay in their own home, and receive care in familiar surroundings. But then long-term care can be SO expensive, and as folks age, many of them may not qualify, health-wise, for a plan. But there is some good news….

We have discovered a service (not insurance) that will help individuals with normal activities, should they require assistance. These include MEAL PLANNING, ASSISTANCE WITH DRESSING, ASSISTANCE WITH BATHING, TOILETING AND HYGIENE, GROOMING, LAUNDRY, IRONING AND CHANGING LINENS, GROCERY SHOPPING, LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING, MEDICATION REMINDERS, AND ACCOMPANYING YOU TO DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS. Though not insurance, it is similar in respect to the LEVERAGE that is created by the plan itself.

There is NO MEDICAL UNDERWRITING, NO CLAIM FORMS, NO DEDUCTIBLES, NO AGE LIMITS, with services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When assistance becomes essential in the event of a sudden injury or illness, this plan will quickly coordinate and arrange care for seniors in the privacy and comfort of their own home.

To be eligible for a plan, prospective members must be able to live independently at the time of enrollment, and cannot be currently in the need of, or receiving any assistance, from family members or others, with activities such as bathing, dressing, or transferring.

If someone has been declined for long term care insurance before, and are living independently right now, there is a very good chance they will qualify. We think that is VERY GOOD NEWS!!
