Stocks fell again today with investors growing more cautious about the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the economy.

 

Dow Jones finished -272 at 34,607

S&P 500 finished -35 at 4,458

NASDAQ finished -133 at 15,115

 

The 10 Year Treasury closed up 4 basis points yielding 1.34%

Oil prices closed up $1.52 ending at $69.66 a barrel.

Gold prices closed down $11 .00 ending at $1,789 an ounce.

  • Apple closed down 3.3% after a judge ruled that Apple could not force app developers to use in-app purchasing. The decision will allow developers to direct users to pay through another platform and cut out Apple, which takes a percentage of in-app purchases.
  • Affirm closed up more than 34% after issuing quarterly results. Affirm reported revenue of $261.8 million in the fiscal fourth quarter, beating analysts’ expectations and marking a 71% growth. The buy now, pay later company also issued an upbeat guidance for the current quarter.
